Incidentally, these two houses were shot by fashion photographer Ellen Von Unworth for her book ‘Revenge’ several weeks earlier. We shared the same Location Manager as well as fetish subject matter.
This was Justine and Sierra’s first trip to Europe, so they were really excited about the shooting. What you see here is Justine with Czech model Kyla Cole. By the time we finished filming it was time for lunch. Not letting a golden opportunity vanish, I asked Justine and Kyla to sit down and eat our elegant country meal just the way they were. Happily they agreed - to the amusement of my group of make-up artists, models and stylists. I really enjoy it when the ‘fantasy scene’ overlaps into ‘reality. Of course this scenario can work in reverse as well. Hope you enjoy their ‘golden globes’ as much as I did!
I was invited to send this trailer for my film GIRLFRIENDS to an emerging indie porn studio in Barcelona. My understanding is that they will include it on a DVD with some other companies like Vivid and Viv Thomas. I don’t know how I’ll mix with that style of video footage, but since I spent several hours editing this trailer, I thought I’d share it with you.
Here is a little background about this film. Before this shoot the girls and I had just returned from the Summer in Paris filming EXHIBITIONISTS, so it was nice to shoot locally. GIRLFRIENDS was shot in several houses which are architectural icons in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles.
And the girls? SIERRA was an exceptional young model that we took to Europe. It was her first time traveling out of the US. She immediately made friends with Justine (also her first time abroad). Sierra was a Los Angeles girl represented by a major modeling agency. She told me that the fashion/photo business was way more perverted than nude modeling. So she decided that nude fashion modeling was the way to go and to shoot with us exclusively.
Not only did she get to be a totally nude exhibitionist, she could avoid the silly politics of the photo/fashion world! But eventually she went back to her former ‘normal’ life. At least she can look back and acknoledge what a world class beauty she was at the age of 20!
One of my favorite shots of Sierra was from EXHIBITIONISTS. She’s sitting in front of a French Chateau, taking a puff from a cigarette she’s holding between her toes. I just loved the beautiful Sierra.
This was also Monica Mendez‘ first film with me. She was a Stripper that I’d seen in several clubs here in town that also modeled for Playboy.
Obviously, Monica’s hugh breasts set her apart from the other girls, and I was immediately attracted to her. We became friends and then Monica became my ‘Topless Studio Assistant’. There’s nothing like coming into work on a Monday morning and having the topless Monica handing me my coffee! Monica shot a BTS feature for DOLLHOUSE in which she also co-starred with Dahlia, Celeste, Jacqueline and Jade Hsu.
